The twenty-third question from Fatwa number ( 19637 )
Q23: A man bought some goods, and before he paid the price, another man came and said to him: “Take this profit, and I will pay the price.” Is it permissible for him to take the profit or must he first take possession of them and then sell them?
A23: If a man buys goods and takes possession of them after the sale is completed, he may sell them for a profit and receive the profit, even if he has not paid the price of the goods to the seller, and the second buyer pays the price to the seller.
