A7: The hadith is weak. The beginning of a day of i'tikaf is after the Fajr prayer, and its end is the setting of the sun, and so it is for the two days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
Whoever performs i'tikaf for a day seeking the Face of Allah, Allah will place between him and the Fire three trenches, each trench as far as the distance between the two horizons.
من اعتكف يومًا ابتغاء وجه الله باعد الله بينه وبين النار ثلاثة خنادق كل خندق كما بين الخافقينA7: The hadith is weak.
