The Mudarabah Partnership

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 7337 )
Q1: Many people have started sharing their wealth with one another, and the partnership between them is a mudarabah, except that one of them works and the other does not. Is it permissible to assign a monthly salary to the working partner in exchange for his work? This is what I hope you will answer, along with the evidence you rely on for that. May Allah reward you with good.
A1: A mudarabah partnership is: providing a known amount of money from one person to a trader, in exchange for a known, undivided share of the profit, such as a quarter or the like. Thus, the money comes from one party, the work is done by the second, and the fixed share of the profit is the compensation for the work. If a known profit is not specified for the worker, he is entitled to the standard wage for his work, and the entire profit belongs to the owner of the money.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
