Gathering over food for reconciliation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 17375 )
Q1: If a dispute arises between two tribes and it is feared that some of them will slaughter one another, another tribe intervenes and slaughters an animal at one of their places, over which they gather to reconcile the disputing parties. What is the ruling on this slaughtered animal?
A1: If the name of Allah the Exalted is mentioned over this slaughtered animal, and
the intention behind it is for the two tribes to gather over food to reconcile between them, then there is nothing wrong with it, just like other animals slaughtered for eating. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
