Slaughter at the home of one of the disputing parties for the purpose of reconciliation between them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 480 ):
Q: If a dispute arises between two tribes and there is a fear that some of them will slaughter one another, another tribe intervenes and slaughters
a sacrificial animal at the home of one of them, and they gather to eat it for the sake of reconciliation between the disputing parties. What is the ruling on this sacrificial animal?

A: If there is no purpose for slaughtering the sacrificial animal at the home of one of the disputing parties other than gathering to carry out the reconciliation between them and then coming together to eat it, then it is assistance in carrying out the reconciliation which Allah the Exalted commanded in His saying:
The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allahإِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ
[Al-Hujurat 49:10]
and in uniting the word and removing what is in the hearts, and as an honor to those who attended the reconciliation. Therefore, we do not see any harm in that. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
