Taking sugar and using it in drinks and the like with the company's permission

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 12604 )
Q2: We ask about sugar: is it permissible for a person to use sugar at his workplace, meaning: he takes from the sugar supply and drinks it, whether it is lemonade, tea, or anything else inside the factory? Of course, we have scholars, some of whom issued a ruling that it is forbidden, citing the hadith: (Whoever works in a job and takes his wage from it, then whatever he takes after that is ghalul),
What is the meaning of the hadith? Others said: it is permissible as long as there is no breach of trust, and if one sees a person taking sugar for home, as long as the company gave each person a bag at the end of the month. Others said: it is permissible as long as you are working for the company and doing the work, there is no harm in taking sugar for drinking, whether inside the factory or for home. We are confused about this matter, so we want a fatwa we can be reassured by, with the presentation of conclusive evidence. May Allah guide you to what He loves and is pleased with. Is the hadith I mentioned earlier authentic or weak? If it is authentic, in which books is it and what is its meaning? And if it is weak, please inform us. May Allah guide you.
A2: It is permissible to take sugar and use it in drinks and the like if the company has given the workers clear permission to do so. As for the hadith, it was narrated by Abu Dawud , al-Hakim , Ibn Khuzaymah , and al-Bayhaqi from the hadith of Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) in the wording:Sunan Abi Dawud 2943Sahih (Al-Albani) . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
