The ninth question from Fatwa number ( 6542 )
Q9: What is the ruling on one who names his sons: 'Abd al-Nabi, 'Abd al-Masih, and 'Abd al-Rasul?
A9: It is not permissible; because of the exaggeration in the prophets and others, by making people slaves to them, and giving them a right from the rights of Allah falsely and deceptively. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
