Q: Is there zakah in honey produced by bees or not?
A: There is no zakah in honey produced by bees; rather, zakah becomes obligatory on its value if it is prepared for sale, a lunar year has passed over it, and its value reaches the nisab, in which case a quarter of a tenth is due. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
