Is it permissible to insure a mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 4900 )
Q1: What is the ruling on insurance in its various forms? And is it permissible to insure a mosque, especially here in Britain where accidents are frequent, involving the demolition of houses
and the setting of homes on fire, and they (the Christians and some non-believers) harbor hatred toward the Muslims, so they might burn down the mosque. Is it permissible to insure it? Because the government here compensates anyone whose house is burned. Also, is insuring cars permissible or not?

A1: Commercial insurance is forbidden, whether it is on a person, goods, a car, or real estate, even if it is a mosque or an endowment; because it includes ignorance, excessive uncertainty in a contract, gambling, usury or interest, and other such prohibitions.
