A2: Zakat is obligatory on rabbits kept for trade if their value reaches the nisab (minimum threshold for zakah) either by themselves or when combined with other items subject to zakat, and a lunar year has passed over them. One should pay one-quarter of one-tenth of their value, just as with trade goods. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
