The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6187 )
Q2: What is your opinion of a person who visited al-Masjid al-Nabawi while in a state of wudu', and then went out to al-Baqi' and to the other shrines without wudu'? Is there anything required of him in that?
A2: He owes nothing; because visiting al-Baqi' or the martyrs of Uhud does not require the visitor to be in a state of wudu', and likewise visiting all graves is recommended but does not require ritual purity; due to the generality of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Ibn Majah 1569Sahih (Darussalam) narrated by Muslim in his Sahih. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
