The second question of the fatwa number ( 2461 )
Q 2: I hope to know about blood, is it invalidating of the prayer?
A 2: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: We do not know of any scriptural evidence indicating that blood coming out from other than the private parts is among the things that invalidate the ablution, and the original ruling is that it is not an invalidator. Acts of worship are based on what has been specified by the Lawgiver, so it is not permissible for anyone to say: this act of worship is prescribed, except with evidence. Some scholars have held that the ablution is invalidated by the exit of a large amount of blood, as known by custom, from other than the private parts. So if one who has such an exit performs the ablution out of caution and to avoid the difference of opinion, that is good; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.
