Q: Is it permissible for a person who has harm in his eyes to pray with his eyes closed, or not?
A: A person who has an eye condition and is harmed by opening his eyes may pray with his eyes closed. His prayer is valid, and there is no dislike in doing so due to the legal excuse. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
