Accumulation of paint on the areas of ablution

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 12137 )
Q 1: We frequently receive questions regarding the accumulation of paint (varnish) on the areas of ablution, as many people, especially those working in that specialty, have their limbs exposed to paint, and it cannot be removed except with chemical substances. They say that using those removing chemical substances, such as (turpentine), affects the skin if used continuously. Is their prayer permissible if they perform ablution? Knowing that those paints prevent water from reaching the skin, or is it necessary to remove everything that prevents water from reaching the skin for every obligatory prayer, even if there is hardship? I hope you will kindly request the issuance of a fatwa on this so that they can be answered,
This, and may Allah preserve you.

A 1: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And to proceed: It is obligatory for the Muslim to let water reach his skin when performing ablution, and he must remove anything that prevents water from reaching the skin. Workers in paint and varnish and the like can wear what protects their hands from the paint reaching them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
