Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7011 )
Q2: If a man prays a voluntary prayer, then sits between the two rak'ahs for the tashahhud, and then realizes that he has only prayed one rak'ah, so he completes it, does he perform the prostration for forgetfulness for it or not?
A2: If the situation is as described, he performs the prostration for forgetfulness, just as he does in the obligatory prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
