Prayer Behind an Imam Who Does Not Settle

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 1433 )
Q2: Is it permissible to pray behind an imam who does not settle or is it not permissible?
A2: Settling in the bowing, in the standing after rising from it, in the prostration, and in the sitting between the two prostrations is among the obligatory acts of the prayer. Therefore, whoever does not settle in any of these pillars, his prayer is invalid, and the prayer of one who follows him is not valid. It is obligatory for one who knows this about him to guide him and advise him. If he accepts the advice, praise be to Allah; otherwise, it is obligatory to leave praying behind him and to report his case to the competent authority where possible, so that they remove him from the position of imam and appoint someone else who prays well. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
