The first question of Fatwa number ( 8595 )
Q1: How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bow, and did he do anything after the closing salam?
A1: He (peace and blessings be upon him) would straighten his back in the bowing and place his hands firmly on his knees. He would seek forgiveness from Allah three times after the closing salam and say:Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani) Then he would turn to the people and say: Sahih Muslim 594a . He also guided his Companions to glorify Allah thirty-three times, magnify Him thirty-three times, and praise Him thirty-three times, and to complete the hundred by saying: "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things." They should also recite the Verse of the Throne, and (Say: He is Allah, the One) and (Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Daybreak) and (Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind) after every prayer. It is recommended to repeat these three surahs three times: after the Fajr prayer and after the Maghrib prayer; because an authentic hadith has been reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to that effect. It is also recommended to add, after the aforementioned dhikr following the Fajr and Maghrib prayers, the saying: "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He gives life and He causes death, and He is able to do all things," ten times; because this has been established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
Q1: How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bow, and did he do anything after the closing salam?
A1: He (peace and blessings be upon him) would straighten his back in the bowing and place his hands firmly on his knees. He would seek forgiveness from Allah three times after the closing salam and say:
"O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity."
اللهم أنت السلام ومنك السلام، تباركت يا ذا الجلال والإكرامThere is no god but Allah alone, having no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things competent. There is no power and no strength except by Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him. His is the blessing, His is the favor, and His is the good praise. There is no god but Allah, sincere to Him in religion, even if the disbelievers dislike. O Allah, there is no one who can prevent what You have given, and there is no one who can give what You have withheld, and the wealth of the wealthy does not benefit him against You.
