Ruling on saying: “There is no god but Allah alone…” after Fajr and Maghrib

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
After this, we move on to a message received by the program from listener Khaled Jamil Musa. Brother Khaled presents some of his circumstances and says: After the Fajr and Maghrib prayers, I say ten times:
There is no god but Allah alone, having no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death. In His hand is all good, and He is over all things competent.لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك، وله الحمد، يحيي ويميت، بيده الخير، وهو على كل شيء قدير
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 18:172
Is this an innovation? Or is it on the correct path? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
No, it is a sunnah (recommended practice), a sunnah. It is established in several hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he encouraged this and praised those who do it ten times after the Fajr prayer, and ten times after the Maghrib prayer, along with the prescribed dhikr (remembrance of Allah) at the other prayers. He says after the taslim (closing salam):
I seek forgiveness from Allah.أستغفر الله
three times
"O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity."اللهم أنت السلام، ومنك السلام، تباركت يا ذا الجلال والإكرام
Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani)
.
Then he says:
There is no god but Allah alone, having no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise. He is over all things competent. There is no power and no strength except with Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him. His is the blessing, His is the favor, and His is the good praise. There is no god but Allah, sincere to Him in religion, even if the disbelievers dislike it. O Allah, there is no one who can prevent what You have given, and there is no one who can give what You have withheld, and the wealth of the wealthy does not benefit him against You.
Sahih Muslim 594a
Then he recites these ten:
None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, [He gives life and causes death,] and He has power over all thingsلا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك، وله الحمد، يحيي ويميت، وهو على كل شيء قدير
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3553Sahih (Darussalam)
ten times. If he adds:
In His hand is all good.بيده الخير
or says:
and He is Living and does not dieوهو حي لا يموت
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3429Da’if (Darussalam)
it is all good, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
