The first question of Fatwa No. ( 5226 )
Q1: What is the successful call, and from where is it derived, and what are the conditions that must be present in the one who calls to Allah? Mention some books that discuss this field.
A1: First: The successful call is: calling to Allah the Exalted with knowledge and insight. Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said:[Fussilat 41:33] And He, the Exalted, said: [Yusuf 12:108] the verse. Second: The successful call is derived from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and the application of the Companions, the Successors, and those who follow them of that in the correct manner.
Third: Among the conditions that must be present in the one who calls to Allah are those mentioned in the story of Shu'ayb. Allah the Exalted said, narrating from Shu'ayb (peace be upon him):[Hud 11:88] So in this verse is the explanation that among the conditions of the call are: knowledge, lawful earnings, and his adherence to what he calls to; so he avoids what Allah has forbidden and obeys what Allah has commanded, good intention, entrusting the matter to Allah the Exalted, and reliance upon Him, and that He is the One in whose hand is success and inspiration. And among the conditions is also what Allah the Exalted mentioned in His saying: [An-Nahl 16:125] And among them is: adorning oneself with patience. He, the Exalted, said: [An-Nahl 16:127] And He, the Exalted, said: [Al-Kahf 18:28]
Fourth: The books that discuss this field: The Noble Qur'an; so you must memorize it, recite it frequently, reflect upon it, and pay attention to acting upon it and calling to it. Add to it the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); for it explains the Qur'an and clarifies it. From the books of the Sunnah are: the two Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim, and the Muwatta of Malik, and the Musnad of Imam Ahmad, and the Sunan of Abu Dawud, and the Sunan of al-Tirmidhi, and the Sunan of al-Nasa'i, and the Sunan of Imam Ibn Majah .. and other books of the Sunnah, and the books of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and his student Ibn al-Qayyim, and the books of the Imams of the call: Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab and his followers. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness
This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me
Third: Among the conditions that must be present in the one who calls to Allah are those mentioned in the story of Shu'ayb. Allah the Exalted said, narrating from Shu'ayb (peace be upon him):
He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him...? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best

And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect.
Fourth: The books that discuss this field: The Noble Qur'an; so you must memorize it, recite it frequently, reflect upon it, and pay attention to acting upon it and calling to it.
