The third question of Fatwa No. ( 9093 )
Q3: I have memorized some of the Qur'an, and my aspiration is to complete its memorization, then move on to memorizing the hadiths of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) found in the two Sahihs, with the success of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Is this method the best, or should I do both at the same time, memorizing a portion of the Qur'an and a portion of the hadith each time?
A3: Both methods are valid, so choose whichever is easier for you and meets your needs and the needs of those around you. We ask Allah the Exalted for success and guidance for us and for you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
