Sitting of the female teacher with the male teacher

The second and third questions from Fatwa number ( 7584 )
Q2: Here in Algeria there are many bad phenomena, including the phenomenon of free mixing of men and women, which has caused the spread of corruption and bad morals. So how do we continue our lessons, we who are veiled? The atmosphere is dirty, a lustful, animalistic atmosphere, and may Allah protect us from that. Is our hijab just the house, as they tell us?
A2: A Muslim woman may leave her house wearing Islamic clothing, not wearing perfume, not displaying her adornment, and not swaying in her walk, for the purpose of praying in the mosque, for teaching, for learning what she needs, or for visiting her mahrams, neighbors, or friends, provided there is no fear of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) or of aggression against her from the foolish people of the society mentioned. Otherwise, she must stay in her house.
Q3: Is the sitting of women with male teachers in the school not permissible in the Shari'ah? Even if the goal is noble and the intention is sincere, free from any whispering.
A3: The women in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when they went out to pray in the mosques or to the prayer ground for the festivals, would sit behind the men and form rows in prayer behind the men. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would, if he thought on the festival days that he had not made the women hear his address, go to them after reminding the men, and he would admonish them, remind them, and command them with what he intended. This was despite their righteousness, the strength of their faith, and the righteousness and safety of the society from corruption. Therefore, it is obligatory for women, whether teachers or not, to separate their congregation from the congregation of men in the school and elsewhere; following the example of the pure Companions (women), warding off fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), and blocking the means to corruption, even if the intention is sincere and the goal is noble. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
