Teaching Art Education

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 4002 )
Q4: I used to work as an art education teacher, so is this profession forbidden or permissible? Knowing that I do not draw people or statues, but I teach the female students how to draw and do art projects.
A4: If the artistic works and types of education you perform do not contain anything that contradicts the pure Shari'ah, then there is no blame on you. As for drawing, there is a
detail: if it is drawing of living beings, it is not permissible; because of what came in the authentic hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the warning in that matter, and the cursing of the painters. As for drawing what has no life, such as stones, trees, and the like, there is nothing wrong with it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
