Q3: If the mu'adhdhin makes a mistake in the adhan, such as omitting the takbir or (hayya 'ala al-salah), and the mu'adhdhin learns of this from the praying people after the adhan has ended, does he repeat the adhan or what?
A3: Yes, he repeats the adhan; because the adhan in which he made a mistake is contrary to the prescribed manner due to its omission. However, if he notices the omission or is alerted to it immediately before a long time has passed, he recites what he left out and what follows it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
