Restrooms around the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 6857 )
Q: I have noticed several mosques where places for ablution and restrooms are placed adjacent to them or under their minarets. And since it is preferable to honor the minaret and not place a roof over it, I hope you will examine this phenomenon and inform us of the ruling, so that we may be able to point it out. May Allah preserve you.
A: If the situation is as you described, that the places for ablution and restrooms, etc., are placed under the minarets and adjacent to the walls of the mosques, then there is no harm in that, provided that no harm comes to the mosques and their people from them; because there is no scriptural evidence prohibiting it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
