Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of the fatwa numbered ( 5816 )
Q 2: They perform wudu' from the water of a pond in which rainwater runoff collects, and worms have been observed moving in the water that remains after drinking from it; because these worms are evidence that the water in the pond is old, is it permissible to perform wudu' from it?
A 2: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: If this water has not had its taste, smell, or color changed by impurity, then
the worms that breed in it do not harm it; because it is not possible to guard against them, they are excused due to hardship, and it is permissible to perform wudu' from it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
