The ruling on water collected from rain

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

The third question of Fatwa number ( 7344 )

Q 3: Whatis the ruling on rainwater collected in artificial ponds?Given that people use it for istinja' (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself), and for ghusl (the full ritual bath) and wudu' (the ablution for prayer), and that children may swim in it, and it is possible that they urinate in it (though this is merely a possibility), and does the hadith:
Water, if it is more than two qullahs, does not become impureالماء إذا كان أكثر من قلتين لا ينجس
؟

A 3: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. After that: The original ruling for water is that it is pure in itself and purifies others, unless its color, taste, or smell changes due to impurity that occurs in it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
