Not everyone who is worshipped other than Allah is considered a taghut

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 9013 ):
Q3: Is the Prophet of Allah, 'Isa ibn Maryam (peace and blessings be upon him), considered a taghut because he was worshipped other than Allah?

A3: Not everyone who is worshipped other than Allah is considered a taghut; rather, one is considered a taghut if he is worshipped other than Allah and he is pleased with that, or if he calls people to worship himself. 'Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) was not pleased to be worshipped; on the contrary, he denied it and called to the worship of Allah alone. Allah the Exalted said:
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.
[Al-Ma'idah 5:72]
, and Allah the Exalted said:
(116) And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. (117) I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.
[Al-Ma'idah 5:116-117]
. This continues to many verses and authentic hadiths in this meaning. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
