I want an explanation of this hadith and what can be derived from it.

A1: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the accountable person from harming himself or harming others. This indicates that a person is prohibited from transgressing against himself or others. Although there is some discussion regarding this hadith, it has been transmitted through various chains that reinforce one another, and it has corroborating narrations. Therefore, it reaches the level of hasan li-ghayrihi (good due to external support) and is suitable for use as evidence. I advise you to review the book [Jami' al-'Ulum wa al-Hikam] by al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab for an explanation of this hadith. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
