The impermissibility of entering the restroom with a mushaf
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 2245 ):
Q2: One of us carries the mushaf in his pocket and may enter the restroom with it. What is the ruling on this? Please inform us.
A2: Carrying the mushaf in one's pocket is permissible, but it is not permissible for a person to enter the bathroom with a mushaf; rather, he should place the mushaf in a place befitting it, out of reverence for the Book of Allah and respect for it. However, if he is compelled to
enter with it out of fear that it will be stolen if left outside, it is permissible for him to enter with it due to dire necessity. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
