Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Your Eminence, regarding the divided mushaf, where each part is separate and each part is printed between divided pages, is it treated like the complete mushaf? That is, is it not permissible to touch it without wudu', and is it not permissible to bring it into the restroom?

The Shaykh : Yes, the scholars say regarding the mushaf: it is not required that it be complete. Even if it is just one page, the ruling of the complete mushaf applies to it.
It is not permissible for one in a state of ritual impurity to touch it, nor to bring it into the place of relief. As for a single verse in a book, that is not considered significant. It is permissible for a person to touch the book even without wudu', and it is permissible to bring it into the bathroom if there is a need to do so. Yes, as I said, tafsir is among the books. Yes.
