The third question of Fatwa No. ( 3535 ):
Q3: What is the ruling on praying behind one who shaves his beard, and even mocks those who let their beards grow and orders them to shave it?
A3: It is not permissible to mock one who lets his beard grow; because he let it grow in implementation of the command of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). One should advise the mocker and guide him,
and make it clear that his mockery of one who lets his beard grow is a great crime, and one fears for its owner that he may fall into apostasy from Islam; because of the saying of the Exalted and Majestic:[At-Tawbah 9:65-66] the verse. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

قُلْ أَبِاللَّهِ وَآيَاتِهِ وَرَسُولِهِ كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَهْزِئُونَ (65) لاَ تَعْتَذِرُوا قَدْ كَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ
