Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward the honorableThe Shaykh : What is the ruling on what some employees do, which is driving the children of their managers or superiors at work to their homes after the children leave school, either by order of the superior for a fee or without a fee, whether it is one child or more? May Allah reward you with good?

The Shaykh : This resembles the gifts of workers. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, as narrated by Imam Ahmad:
The gifts of workers are embezzlementهدايا العمال غلول
. And ghalul (embezzlement) is forbidden. Allah the Exalted said:
It is not [attributable] to any prophet that he would act unfaithfully [in regard to war booty]. And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection. وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَغُلَّ وَمَنْ يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
[Ali 'Imran 3:161]
. So if this man takes his superior's sons or daughters to school and brings them back to the house, this is undoubtedly like a gift. If it is for a wage, another matter arises. What is it? That it occupies him from his official work, because taking the children to school or bringing them back from school happens during official working hours. It is not permissible for a manager or superior to ever use those under his authority for his personal affairs. If he does so, he is unjust to the state. And if he forces them, he is unjust to the state and unjust to these employees. Some people, may Allah protect us from that, if the employee does not do what he wants, he targets him; he targets this employee. And if he has the power to transfer him to a distant place, he transfers him, or to deprive him of benefits that are obligatory for him; this is forbidden, and this is forbidden. It is obligatory for us, my brothers, to fear Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and to know that we will meet Allah, and to know that we will be gathered barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised. So it is not permissible for anyone to be unjust to anyone whom Allah has placed under his authority.
Yes.

The questioner : A female questioner says, "My honorable Shaykh, my mother married a man and he gave birth to a daughter. That is what she says. My mother married a man and he gave her a daughter and a son."

The Shaykh : Let her speak. Let her speak. What is the correct word? A man. But we say that for a layperson, it is sufficient to read a question. Yes.

The questioner : She married a man who gave her a daughter and a son. Then he died.

The Shaykh : And a son.

The questioner : Then he died, and my mother married my father. He is the uncle of the daughter.

The Shaykh : What? What?
