A2: It is not permissible to celebrate the Prophet's birthday, nor to celebrate the Mi'raj, nor to participate in such; for that is among the religious innovations introduced into the religion. It is authentically narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sahih Muslim 1718a . And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
