The Appearance of the Dajjal
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 4957 ):
Q: Will the Messiah, the Dajjal, whose appearance one group has affirmed and another has denied, appear as I have read?
A: Yes, the Dajjal will appear, and the hadiths regarding his appearance are authentic, explicit, and mass-transmitted. Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) established a chapter in [Sahih] on this matter, titled "The Chapter on Mentioning the Dajjal," and he narrated ten hadiths. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) clarified their explanation in his book
[Fath al-Bari]. You may refer to it or to other books of the Sunnah that mention this. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
