Making the cross is forbidden

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 7266 ):
Q: What is your opinion regarding the cross, and what if it is made on carpets that are used for prayer, or on the carpets of some mosques that have swords and palm trees on them, with crosses engraved on them? How is the prayer performed on these crosses?
A: Making the cross is forbidden, whether it is three-dimensional, engraved, drawn, or otherwise, on a wall, carpet, or anything else. It is not permissible to bring it into a mosque, a house, or an educational institution such as a school or institute. It is not permissible to keep it; rather, it is obligatory to eliminate it and remove it by breaking it, erasing it, defacing it, or other means that obliterate its features. It is not permissible to sell it, nor to pray on it. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad , his family, and his Companions.
