Q12: How do I get rid of Satan’s whispers in prayer?
A12: Do not follow what he whispers to you in your prayer; rather, turn away from it, and occupy yourself with reflecting on what you recite from the Qur’an and contemplating the greatness and majesty of Allah in the takbir, tasbih, and tahmid in your standing, bowing, prostrating, sitting for the tashahhud, and all the other prescribed words and actions in your prayer. Let him seek refuge in Allah from it three times, and let him spit to his left along with that.
