If the imam doubts in his prayer and adds a rak'ah, is it obligatory for the ma'mum to follow him if he is certain that it is a fifth rak'ah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : One of them said: If the imam stands up for the fifth rak'ah and you are certain that this fifth one is an addition, while the imam is in doubt, is it obligatory for you to follow him or not? He said: If you follow him while you are certain that this is the fifth rak'ah, your prayer is invalid.

The Shaykh : What Allah willed! We say that the obligatory thing is this: If something happens to you, you should say the tasbih. If you know or become aware of the imam's mistake, you must alert him by saying "Subhan Allah." If he becomes aware, that is good and excellent. If he does not become aware, you must follow him. We say to those who turn away from the evidence and the Prophetic hadiths in order to follow sectarian opinions!
Peace be upon you.

The questioner : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah.

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you with good. We have two traveling companions with us.

The questioner : Welcome.

The Shaykh : Welcome, oh Allah!
The hadith in the "Sahihayn" from the hadith of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the midday prayer in five rak'ahs, and they followed him, while they knew that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had stood up for the fifth. When he finished the prayer with them, they said: "O Messenger of Allah, was something added to the prayer?" He said:
No. لا
. They said: "You prayed five." So he prostrated the prostrations of forgetfulness and said:
but I am a human being like you and liable to forget like you. So if I forget remind me إنما أنا بشرٌ مثلكم أنسَى كما تنسَون ، فإذا نسيت فذكِّروني
Sahih al-Bukhari 401
. Here they are, having followed the Messenger (peace be upon him) in that following which they did not see being practiced.
Do you think you are here now or there?

The questioner : Let us ask our Shaykh!

The Shaykh : What is their card?

The questioner : The travelers are here, here.

The Shaykh : No, travelers here and there, meaning Jordanian?

The questioner : Jordanian.

The Shaykh : Then it is here.
They say: Their Companions followed him only because it was the time of legislation. And we turn this word or this claim back upon them!

The questioner : Here is the Shaykh, may Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : Oh Lord, in the name of Allah, please go ahead.
