Clarification that the Dajjal is a created person and the refutation of those who deny that he is a person and claim that he is a symbol of evil that spreads throughout the lands in the end times, among whom is al-Qadiyani.

The Shaykh : Among the matters concerning the Dajjal and his description is that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has forbidden him from entering Makkah and al-Madinah, so he is unable to enter them. All these characteristics indicate to one who examines them that he is a created being. Yet, despite all this, you find many writers, both ancient and modern, and especially today, who deny this reality which the mass-transmitted reports have agreed upon to establish. They claim that the Dajjal is not a person, but rather a symbol of the greatest evil that appears and spreads throughout the lands in the end times. This claim was made before these writers by the aforementioned Dajjal, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiyani. He claimed that the Dajjal is evil, not a human being. He also claimed that the hadiths, which do not accept figurative interpretation, regarding the descent of 'Isa (peace be upon him) do not mean the descent of the person of 'Isa, but rather the descent of goodness and peace, and similar attributes that correspond to the evil symbolized by the Dajjal.
