Is it authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that a woman breaks the prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : The hadith:
A woman breaks the prayer المرأة تقطع الصلاة
.

The Shaykh :
A woman breaks the prayer المرأة تقطع الصلاة
؟

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : What is the matter with it?

The questioner : What is the opinion of the scholars and the stronger position in this matter? Because Imam Ahmad, in a narration from him, says: "There is something in the hadith," regarding this addition of the woman in the hadith of the dog and the donkey?

The Shaykh : No, the hadith is in "Sahih Muslim" and is free from any defect, so it is authentic. It is established from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said, in the hadith of Abu Dharr:
If one of you prays and there is not in front of him the length of the back of a saddle, then a woman, a donkey, and a black dog break his prayer إذا صلى أحدكم وليس بين يديه مثلُ مُؤخرة الرحل ؛ فإنه يقطع صلاته المرأة والحمار والكلب الأسود
. They asked: "What is the matter with the black dog?" He said:
It is a devil إنه شيطان
. This is an authentic hadith free from any defect. And if it is established that Imam Ahmad hesitated regarding the mention of the woman, that is due to a doubt that arose for him, similar to the statement of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: "You have likened us to donkeys or equated us with donkeys." The statement of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) does not invalidate the hadith of her husband and her Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
