What is the ruling on bringing in maids from abroad without mahrams?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : There is a question that says: We are in Kuwait and we bring in maids from India or Pakistan who are Muslim, and they come without mahrams. Do we bear a sin because we help them come without mahrams?

The Shaykh : There is no doubt, but if the women coming are Muslim, then the sin is incurred. As for if the women coming are not Muslim, then that is a community with its own rulings and its own beliefs, and we cannot compel them to follow them. So if these maids are Muslim, it is not permissible for us to be the cause of putting them in a position where they travel to these countries alone, unlike the disbelieving women.
