Bringing a maid to sleep with a sick patient
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 9452 )
Q1: I am the eldest son of my father, and Allah willed that my father fell ill and suffered from hemiplegia. I want to bring him a maid to look after his comfort, because each of us is busy with his work. Is it permissible for me to bring a maid to feed him and give him a bath, and to sleep with him at night if the other residents of the house are out?
A1: It is not permissible for you to bring a maid to do what was mentioned in the question and similar things, because of the prohibitions involved in that according to the Shari'ah.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
