Explaining the misguidance of those who reject ahad reports in matters of creed.

The Shaykh : Therefore, I want to move from these two groups to a third group that has a root in Islamic history, even after the righteous Salaf, which sprouted up today and adopted an old deviation in the name of Islam as well. That is dividing the Sunnah in terms of its establishment into two parts: what is established at the level of certainty, which in the terminology of hadith scholars is called mutawatir hadith, and what is established at the level of probability, which in the terminology of hadith scholars is called ahad hadith. This division, although it corresponds to reality, leads them to distinguish in some cases between acting upon the second type and the first type. They say: Islam is divided into creed and rulings. As for what is related to the first part, if it is a mutawatir hadith, it is acted upon; and if it is not so, but is an ahad hadith, it is not acted upon. Here they have a detail in which they are greatly confused, and I do not need to mention it unless the need arises. The important point is that they do not make it obligatory to act upon and believe in ahad hadith in matters related to creed. As for what is related to the second part of the Shari'ah, namely rulings, they agree with the majority of Muslims in the obligation of acting upon ahad hadith in them. So what concerns us in this research is this detail: they say that ahad hadith is not acted upon in creed. This means rejecting hundreds of authentic hadiths whose authenticity is agreed upon by hadith scholars, with this new philosophy that the righteous Salaf did not know at all. The research on this is long and very long, and I have two printed theses on it: one titled "Ahad Hadith: The Obligation of Acting Upon Ahad Hadith in Creed and Rulings," and the other: "Ahad Hadith Is Acted Upon in Creed, or It Is Obligatory to Act Upon It in Creed, and the Response to the Doubts of Some People." These are two printed theses, so I will not lengthen my speech in this area. Rather, I will mention a matter that is easy for every Muslim to understand who has a simple culture of the biography of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and his sending of messengers calling to Islam to various regions. When we mention the previous detail that ahad hadith is not acted upon in creed, it necessarily follows that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he sent, for example, Mu'adh ibn Jabal...
