Chapter: "Patience in the Face of Harm" Explanation of the hadith of Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: (Nothing is more patient in enduring the harm it hears than Allah, Mighty and Majestic).

The Shaykh : And for this reason, mixing with people is better for him, because he is rewarded for his patience in his interaction with his fellow humans, with beautiful patience. And for the sake of this point, the author followed this hadith with other hadiths to draw the attention of the Muslim, whom his Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged to mix with people and to be patient if he is afflicted with harm. He followed this hadith with the chapter: "Patience in the Face of Harm"
And he cited beneath it a hadith with a sound chain of narration.
From Abu Musa, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:
No one
or
No one - nothing - is more patient in enduring an injury which he hears than Allah Almighty
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 389
.
Allah, who created people, hears the harm from people, and they are His servants, created for Him, and yet He is patient with them. So for this reason, the Muslim is encouraged: if your Lord, who created people, is harmed by them and yet is patient with their harm, as the hadith will explain, then you, O Muslim, are more deserving of patience when harm befalls you. What is this harm that our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, hears and then is patient with, with a patience that no one in the worlds can match? He said in the completion of the hadith:
they ascribe children to Him
Sahih al-Bukhari 6099
or
they ascribe children to Him, yet He gives them health and (supplies them with) provision.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6099
. Indeed, they attribute to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, the greatest crime, namely that He has a partner, that He has a son, and yet He provides them with the good things of this world, and when they fall ill, He heals them. How is this? And yet they love Him and attribute to Him a son and a partner. That is from the patience of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, with His servants. Therefore, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Nothing and no one is more patient in enduring the harm heard from anyone than Allah, Mighty and Majestic
. That is because they attribute a son to Him, and yet He heals them and provides for them.
Someone might say, "Yes, this is Allah. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, possesses all attributes of perfection, so He is able to be patient with this patience, which has no like in this world. How can we be able to imitate Him?" We say: It is not possible for a human being, no matter how high or elevated he is, for his attribute to become similar to any of the attributes of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. But this is in the category of approximation, because Allah says:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
. And although He said regarding Himself, the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, when He mentioned Adam (peace be upon him), He said:
and We made him hearing and seeing.
[Al-Insan 76:2]
. But the hearing of Adam and his descendants is not like the hearing of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and His seeing is not like His seeing, naturally. But there is a type of participation in the wording. So if a human being cannot imitate Allah, Mighty and Majestic, in the fullness of the attribute, then he should approximate in being described with something of the attribute of patience with which Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, is described. Among His attributes is that He is the Patient, the Appreciative.
