Warning against the Qadiyyah and their deviant doctrine.

The Shaykh : We do not need to remind you now of some of the old Islamic sects, such as the Mu'tazilah, the Khawarij, the Murji'ah, and others, for it is well known that they contradict the Book and the Sunnah. This is because some of them do not return to the Sunnah; they reject authentic hadiths, while others interpret the hadiths in a way that differs from the understanding of our righteous predecessors (Salaf). We will not go far back to give you examples from the beliefs of these old, misguided sects. Rather, we will give you an example of the deviation of some Muslims today, a very serious deviation that is disbelief itself and apostasy itself. They are the sect known as the Qadiyyah, who call themselves the Ahmadiyyah. Those who know their history and their activity in calling to their religion are amazed at how they devote themselves to this activity in calling to their religion, while they claim that their religion is Islam. There is no doubt that they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and they pray, fast, perform Hajj, and pay zakah; that is, they perform the five pillars of Islam. But despite this, they are not Muslims. Why? Because they took some of the verses of the Qur'an and interpreted them according to their desires, without interpreting them in the way of the Muslims, so they followed a path other than the path of the Muslims. Thus, the saying of the Lord of the Worlds came true for them: [An-Nisa 4:115] They believe that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) did not seal the prophethood with Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), but that prophets will come after him. In fact, they claimed that Allah sent them a prophet from India, from a village called Qadian, and the name of this claimed prophet is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiyani. They believe that this is a prophet after our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Did they disbelieve in the Qur'an? Did they disbelieve in the hadiths of the Messenger (peace be upon him)? The verse and the hadiths all agree that there is no prophet after him. No, they did not disbelieve in the wording of the Qur'an. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ahzab 33:40] They did not disbelieve in this wording, but they devised a trick against it and nullified its meaning. Nor did they disbelieve in the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Rather, they also interpreted it in a way other than what the Muslims received. As for the previous verse, where Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ahzab 33:40] They said that the meaning of "the Seal of the Prophets" is "the ornament of the prophets," like a ring on a finger, and that it does not mean that no prophet will come after him. So when they dealt with the authentic hadiths they said: The meaning of "there is no prophet after me" is "there is no prophet with me," and there was no prophet with him, but after him, meaning after his death, a prophet will come, and indeed one has come.
From this recent example, it becomes clear to you that it is not sufficient for a Muslim to understand the Qur'an and the hadith of the Messenger (peace be upon him) separately from the understanding of our righteous predecessors (Salaf) of the Qur'an and the Sunnah. From this, the profound wisdom appears in mentioning the path of the believers and the mention of the Messenger, the Companions, and the Rightly Guided Caliphs, so that the Muslim does not deviate in understanding some of the texts from the Book and the Sunnah and go astray in a far deviation. Safety in this matter lies in following the Salaf, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the hadith of the sects:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2641Da'if (Darussalam) He did not say only "what I am upon," because the Companions are those who transmitted to us what the Messenger (peace be upon him) was upon, and they explained it in a way that left no room for anyone after them to come and philosophize and interpret some of the texts according to their desires.
Among the deviations of these Qadiyyah from Islam is that they denied the creation of the jinn, although Allah the Exalted revealed a surah named after the jinn. They denied the existence of this creation, despite the Qur'an explicitly stating it in more than one verse. The surah mentioned above is sufficient. Did they deny the surah? Did they deny the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Jinn 72:1] What is the verse?
The questioner :[Al-Jinn 72:1]
The Shaykh :[Al-Jinn 72:1] "A wondrous speech" to the end of it.
The questioner :.
The Shaykh : Did they deny the word "jinn" mentioned in this surah and in other verses? The answer is no, but they interpreted the jinn as humans. [An-Nas 114:1-6] They denied the jinn and said that the "jinn" here are humans, and "people" is an explanation of the word "jinn," meaning they are humans. This is the denial (ta'til) for which our scholars from the Salaf directed disapproval at the old sects who interpreted the verses like this modern sect. Therefore, they were called the Mu'tazilah (the deniers) because they nullify the texts of the Shari'ah.
So, safety from being, especially in the last of time, one of the seventy-two sects, and the proof for being of the saved sect is what has been mentioned previously: following the Book and the Sunnah and the methodology of the righteous predecessors (Salaf). Therefore, Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
"Knowledge is: Allah said, His Messenger said *** The Companions said"
It is not just "what was said"; knowledge is: Allah said, His Messenger said, and then the third: "The Companions said" From where did he take this? From the previous evidence.
"Knowledge is: Allah said, His Messenger said *** The Companions said; it is not deception
Knowledge is not: you setting up foolish disagreement *** Between the Messenger and the opinion of a jurist
Nor denial of the attributes and their negation *** Out of fear of denial (ta'til) and likening (tashbih)
So if you remember these texts from the Book and the Sunnah, you will be as careful as possible with us not to be independent in understanding the Book and the Sunnah, nor to be isolated in that, so that we contradict what the righteous predecessors (Salaf) were upon. Therefore, it is well known that the scholars used to say:
"And all good is in following those who came before *** And all evil is in innovating those who came after"
Yes.
And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination.
