How one who missed the first rak'ah of the eclipse prayer makes it up.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : May Allah forgive you. If one missed the first rak'ah of the first rak'ah in the eclipse prayer, does he make it up?

The Shaykh : He makes up the entire rak'ah. In the eclipse prayer, there are two bowings in every rak'ah. The first bowing is what allows one to catch up with the rak'ah. As for the second bowing, one does not catch up with the rak'ah through it, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
and pray whatever you get (with the people) and complete the rest which you have missed ما أدركتم فصلوا وما فاتكم فأتموا
Sahih al-Bukhari 635
. And he must pray a complete rak'ah with its two bowings after the imam has concluded the prayer. Yes.
