The questioner : Shaykh, it is also mentioned in al-Bukhari regarding the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah

The Shaykh : in

The questioner : Regarding the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and the writing of the treaty, yes. And in it, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "So he wrote." In some of the wordings in al-Bukhari, yes.

The Shaykh : Yes, indeed

The questioner : Some scholars said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was—like al-Dhahabi said—that it was of the nature of a prophetic miracle that this came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a prophetic miracle, and that this is not strange. Do you understand? And al-Hafiz mentioned some narrations that indicate that he ordered Ali to write it. Do you understand?

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And other opinions were mentioned, such as the opinion of Abu al-Walid al-Baji, yes, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) originally learned it afterwards. Do you consider al-Dhahabi's opinion stronger, or do you consider it that he handed it over and it was by his order, so it was said that he was the one who wrote it?

The Shaykh : No, I consider the statement of al-Dhahabi to be the stronger one, namely that this was a prophetic miracle for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), as evidenced by what came in some narrations: it is not written "but it was written, and it is not written". Yes, that is correct.

The questioner : As far as I recall now, al-Nawawi
Another questioner: You spoke with us yesterday, if you remember

The Shaykh : I did not mean to stop you
