What is the ruling on fasting two, three, or four days a week voluntarily, on unspecified days, for example Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Here is a question about fasting two, three, or four days a week voluntarily, on unspecified days, for example Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
There is no doubt that it is permissible, but why does this fasting person not aim for what is best, as long as he is unable to fast one day and break the fast the next, which is the best of fasting as it came in the authentic hadith? At the very least, he should choose the days that are best to fast, such as fasting on Monday and fasting on Thursday. If the questioner means that it is not feasible for her to fast except on these days, we say that it is permissible for her to do so, because all of it is worship and all of it is acceptable fasting, but some of it is better than some. If it is feasible for the fasting person to aim for the best, that is permissible; otherwise, it is as it happens. It was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from Anas that he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would fast and fast until we thought he would not break his fast, and he would break his fast and break his fast until we thought he would not fast". The meaning of this is that he would fast whatever was feasible for him to fast. And therefore I said: if the fasting person is able to choose the best days, he should fast them; otherwise, what came in this question, his fasting is permissible and he has its virtue.
