Is a woman’s prayer in her home better, or in the Haram?

The questioner : A woman’s prayer is better in her home... If she goes to the mosque, is her prayer in al-Masjid al-Haram better, or in the house... where she has her home?

The Shaykh : Yesterday we were asked this exact same question, and the answer is that in any case, her prayer in her home or her temporary residence is better for her than praying in al-Masjid al-Haram. In other words, if the reward for praying in al-Masjid al-Haram is a hundred thousand prayers, as stated in the authentic hadith, then her prayer in her home is a hundred thousand prayers and more.
