The youth's opinions differ regarding the preparation and reform the Muslim community needs now, so we ask you to clarify the correct path in this matter?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : The youth have divided into parties and groups. Some say: "Calling to tawhid (the oneness of Allah) is the original foundation of this religion, and to it returns the creed of the Salaf (the earliest generations)." Others say: "Education, purification, and the unity of the Muslim community are what the community needs now in this time." Some say: "Lifting the youth from the depths to heights is the goal of the community and the goal of Islam." So we ask for a balanced word in this area, and exhortation and guidance toward the correct, sound methodology?

The Shaykh : In my opinion, the previous speech can be considered an answer to this question, but some clarification is necessary:
The question is: Some Muslims today focus on, or see the importance of, calling to tawhid (the oneness of Allah), while others focus on purification and education, and others on uniting the word and the like. I say: Beginning with the call to tawhid (the oneness of Allah) is the sunnah (recommended practice) of the prophets and messengers before us. The verses are abundant in that Allah the Exalted did not send a prophet except that he called his people to worship Allah Blessed and Exalted is He alone, with no partner. The story of Noah (peace be upon him) in the surah named after him is not far from you. However, focusing on tawhid does not mean turning away from calling to Islam as a whole, which is indivisible. And it is necessary that the caller, as I said recently, in a blessed gathering like yours or larger:
In calling to Allah the Exalted, the callers should be on a sufficient level of knowledge. We mentioned to you earlier what knowledge is, and that it is the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and what our righteous Salaf (the earliest generations) were upon. So the call should be from people of knowledge, not from those who were given a little culture and then do not know, perhaps, tawhid itself in all its aspects, until they fully understand the word of the testimony "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah). How can he be a caller when he has not been given a sufficient share of knowledge? So the call must first be from scholars, and then it must be comprehensive and inclusive of this Islam about which Allah said in the Qur'an:
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam إن الدِّين عند الله الإسلام
[Ali 'Imran 3:19]
. If some people focus on calling to tawhid, and this is their duty, that does not mean they do not call to every aspect of Islam. But this means that the caller must have knowledge of all, or at least most, of the doors of the Shari'ah (Islamic sacred law).
The young people today who belong to what are called callers, then they differ in the path they should take in the call. And as you heard in the question, even though this question is not very clear, because there is not much difference between one plan and another. But what every call we hear in all Islamic countries must stand upon is a common word, which is that we call to Allah upon the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and upon the methodology of the righteous Salaf (the earliest generations), along with urging people to be more eager for action than for speech. All of this has been detailed in previous discussions, so we suffice with this brief word.
