What is the ruling of the Shari'ah regarding the test-tube baby?

The questioner : The questioner:The questioner : He says: What is the ruling of the Shari'ah regarding the test-tube baby? Knowing that some doctors take a man's semen and place it in the egg of a woman who is not his wife? Give us the evidence, and may Allah reward you with good.
The Shaykh : I had thought that the question was about transferring a man's semen to his wife; because this is what may be difficult for some people. As for transferring a man's semen to a woman other than his wife, that is a modern method of mixing up people's lineages, which usually arises from fornication. So this is a type of fornication through a subtle medical method that deceives many people. Otherwise, what is the meaning of repeating such questions in newspapers and magazines? And these questions continue and hover about until Allah wills! And people are in confusion and in severe loss. This is not permissible, and a Muslim should not even ask about it. But what one should ask about is: Is it permissible to transfer a man's fluid to his wife through this modern medical method?
The point is, the question that may be difficult for some people is: Is it permissible for a man to allow a doctor to transfer his fluid to his wife? We say: It is not permissible. This is because this transfer necessitates, at the very least, that the doctor exposes the wife's 'awrah (part of the body that must be covered). It is not hidden from anyone that looking at the 'awrah of women is not permissible. And what is not permissible in the Shari'ah is not permissible to approach or commit except out of dire necessity. And we do not imagine at all that there would be a dire necessity for a man to transfer his fluid in this forbidden manner to his wife's private part. The matter may sometimes necessitate, and I do not confirm this, because it is a matter that returns to the doctors, but I imagine that the matter may sometimes also necessitate the man's 'awrah being exposed to the doctor's view, just as the wife's is. In that case, the doctor is forced to commit two violations: the first is exposing the wife's 'awrah, and the second is exposing the husband's 'awrah. This is not permissible. In addition to that, following these methods is sufficient to indicate two things:
The first thing is that we imitate the Europeans in everything they do and leave, and this is not permissible, as I mentioned to you on a previous occasion regarding his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 48:130, and in the other narration in al-Tirmidhi and others: .
And so we follow the ways or the ways of these disbelievers. So the innovation of test-tube babies came to us from there. Now we are occupying ourselves and trying to obtain fatwas that permit Muslims to expose their 'awrah in order to obtain a child in this manner.
The second problem is that this person who has not been granted a child throughout this marital life he has spent with his wife in the divine, lawful cosmic manner; this means that he was not pleased with the divine decree and destiny of Allah. So he tries to overcome that, even by committing unlawful means and methods. And if the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) encourages Muslims to follow the lawful paths in seeking sustenance and lawful earnings, then it is even more so that he encourages them to follow the lawful paths in seeking a child through the lawful way. He said (peace and blessings be upon him):, so be moderate in seeking, meaning: follow the beautiful, lawful path in seeking lawful sustenance. , therefore we say: follow the lawful paths so that Allah grants you lawful sustenance and lawful children, and leave these notions, the notions of the path followed by one who does not believe in Allah or in the Last Day.

لتتبعنَّ سنن من كان قبلكم شبرًا بشبر وذراعًا بذراع ، حتى لو دخلوا جحر ضب لدخلتموهEven if there were among them one who committed fornication with his mother on the open road, there would be among you one who does that.

O people, the Holy Spirit has whispered into my heart that no soul will die until it completes its sustenance and its term; so be moderate in seeking.
يا أيها الناس ، لقد نفث روح القدس في رُوعي إن نفسًا لن تموتَ حتى تستكملَ رزقها وأجلها ؛ فأجملوا في الطَّلبSo be moderate in seeking; for what is with Allah is not attained through the haram (forbidden); take what is halal (lawful) and leave what is haram (forbidden).
فأجملوا في الطلب ؛ فإن ما عند الله لا يُنال بالحرام ؛ خذوا ما حلَّ ودَعُوا ما حرّم
